I have a great deal of problems with eczema in my ears and because I wear hearing aids I often get infections.Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

I have had hearing loss since childhood due to a perforation in one ear and suffer from hearing loss in "my good ear" as a result of the initial problem. I am always interested to hear about info you can give in relation to self care, wax removal (this is now my biggest problem) and how to discuss these issues with my ENT consultant.
